Our People
Nth Degree would not be what it is today without the great people that make this company thrive. We would like to share with you a snapshot of some of the great people on our team — just to give you an idea of the phenomenal people who work at Nth Degree.
Lavinia
Williams, Las Vegas Office Manager, Client and Business Services (Since 1987)
Lavinia was the second woman to become City Manager at
Nth Degree. She has received numerous awards for her great attitude
and work ethic. You go girl!
Her philosophy is to work until the job is done and work wherever she is needed, she'll jump in and help with any job, no matter how big or small.
She and her husband live in Nevada and have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Together, they enjoy dancing, singing, yard work, swimming and especially spending time with their grandchildren.
Just recently, Lavinia was at a show where our client's exhibit house forgot to ship the booth to the show! They tried to overnight the booth, but the shipment got lost, so she and her team used a local resource to piece together an exhibit for the client to use. They had to set-up the exhibit on the loading dock and hand carry it in because the show had already opened! Great dedication!
Bill
Bateham, Project Manager (Since 1986)
Bill has been part of the Nth Degree team for 19 years. He began in Tampa, worked out of the corporate office for 6 years on special projects, and was the Nth Degree city manager in Orlando, one of the largest convention cities in the U.S. Bill now serves as one of Nth Degree's top project managers working and traveling with Volvo and Alcatel.
Bill and his family live in Florida where he enjoys wakeboarding and golfing.
Bill is an extremely dedicated project manager. The day of his bachelor party, he installed exhibits at a show out of town, flew home that night for his party, got married the next day, enjoyed a one-day honeymoon and then flew back for the dismantle of the show. Talk about dedication and not to mention an understanding wife!
Pete
Hawkins, Project Manager (Since 1987)
Pete's calm demeanor and ability to run a project seamlessly has been instrumental in many major trade shows as well as the installation of the Coca-Cola museum for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
Pete has been the recipient of the Leadman of the Year award and was one of the first recipients of Nth Degree's internal Extreme Awards. He has since received many more!
Pete and his wife live in Georgia, have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. When Pete has time to unwind, he enjoys golf, playing paintball with his son and son-in-law and spending quality time with the grandchildren.
Pete is willing to go to any length for a client. After a 10-hour flight to Germany, Pete went directly to the show floor to find an unhappy client whose booth was tied up in customs. Immediately, Pete began working with the German office to have pieces of the exhibit built on-site. Pete worked tirelessly to make the exhibit surpass the client's expectations. With very little sleep and a whole lot of jet lag, Pete amazingly pulled it all together and the client was happy when the show opened!

Deb woke up the graphics manager and dropped the order off at 1:00 AM. After a 30 minute nap and a shower, she delivered the graphics onsite at 6:00 in the morning! She was exhausted but excited that she was able to make the show a success for the client.

Sandra and her husband live in Georgia with their two beautiful daughters and rambunctious dogs. In her spare time, Sandra enjoys running and cooking.
Sandra signed up to run a half marathon, but after a particularly busy fall trade show season, didn't think she could do it. She was out of town for two whole weeks on business prior to the race, but she decided to run the marathon after all on Thanksgiving Day. Some of her Nth Degree co-workers were at the finish line to congratulate her completion and dedication!

Ask Georgia what she loves the most about her job and she will tell you: "It's all the players on the team! Whether it's the rookies or the veterans on the team, during good seasons and bad, they ALL have the 'whatever it takes' attitude."
